Abstract

In the era of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Data Revolution, Big Data, and Nawacita, development achievement information serves as a primary data source for policymakers in planning national development. The National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) conducted by BPS is one of the key sources of information to provide an overview of the socioeconomic conditions of the population.Regional autonomy has created a demand for data at the district/city level. Such data is required by district and city governments as a basis for formulating policies and evaluating development programs. To meet this need, since 2015, Susenas data collection has been conducted in March with a sample size of 300,000 households, enabling estimates down to the district/city level. From 2020 to 2024, the March Susenas sample size was increased to 345,000 households.
